Athens, Greece and the 3 musketeers

Beloveds, we have arrived in Athens, my mom is kaput, we are in the hotel and she has been sleeping the whole afternoon. Dad immediately jumped in the shower! My father says drinking all the tablets won't kill him but schlepping a pharmacy along will!

They are doing amazingly well for people in their late seventies!

We took the bus from the airport! €10 in stead of €50 for the taxi. The hotel is two blocks away from where the bus dropped us! We live in Plaka just below the Acropolis. Mom did well wheeling the suit case, but she is now finished, although she claims she is hunky dory!!!

Greece has been invaded, we see a lot of Filipinos, Chinese and Pakistanis and also plenty of Chinese take aways, noodle bars, Indian food and anything that is definitely not Greek. My father left for the barber shop and my mom is still lights out!

Now we sitting on the roof garden, its early evening and we are eating delish cherries, my mom is drinking an Amstel and we are also eating kouloupi (a sesame bun) and ma says it looks like "honde drolle!
