The Gautrain rules!!

Arriving in Jozi I board the Gautrain and next to me sit an elderly couple from Bloemfontein. It is their first time on the train. Suddenly a tall and towering security guard barks at us: "spit it out spit it out! Spit it out madam, spit it out!" "Wat? Wat?" The tannie utters. "Rule number 5" he says pointing at the notice board behind us! And there it is. Rule number 5 states:
Eating and drinking and CHEWING GUM not allowed on the Gautrain.
The lady promptly gets escorted to the bin to spit out the gum. She returns to her seat, shame, she is so embarrassed. I chuckle and say "no point in bribing this one!" when her husband states: "this is the only law that is enforced in a country where everyone, especially politicians, are above the Law!" Ja oom! Ek sê...
